Beautiful working fan, updated with new wire and switch. Has shiny chrome blades that are hard to find (usually, the fan blades are painted to match the fan body).
Like all old fans, the grill is not small enough to keep out fingers and wouldn't pass modern safety codes. I wouldn't recommend placing fingers, etc. into the fan, due to those chrome metal fan blades mentioned above! It's also loud for a small fan, but it moves air like a hurricane.
The fan has been cleaned, restored, lubricated and QA tested for several hours with no known issues.
