This lamp is made from a repurposed antique metal and glass food storage bin with a beautiful, original patina finish.
Originally used to store dried grains, rice, etc. the metal (tin) part of the lamp has a glass window, making it perfect to use as a shadow box type accent or night light.
The included Edison bulb gives it an industrial or Steampunk flair. The inside of the box is painted flat black and lined with felt.
The top of lamp has a burlap covered shade, and includes a low wattage natural LED bulb, and a three-way switch. The base is painted wood, with a felt bottom to protect table surfaces.
Lamp also includes an extra long (8 foot!) wire for running behind tables, couches etc.
All of my pieces are original and unique. Since they are made from repurposed metal objects, they all contain slight flaws and imperfections. This lamp has a couple of minor dents, a hairline crack in the cap, and four small holes someone had drilled into the back before I acquired the box. These imperfections are not noticeable, and do not affect performance of the product.
The lamp was also QA tested for two weeks of normal use with no known malfunctions.
